Hello, there. I stumbled upon your lovely jewelry quite by accident and read with interest about your son. My daughter, is a 12-year old with Asperger's, and the whole network of things that encompasses: ADHD, OCD, Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Sensory Processing Disorder, etc., etc. I teared up, actually, when I read, "I am his voice. He is my heart." Some days, the truth is, I feel like my entire identity is in being her voice -her translator, if you will- to the world. I, too, have struggled with finding funding options for her therapies (we are doing 5 hrs/day, 5 days/wk right now)... Add I think she is hurt worst because she is smart enough to KNOW she is 'off' and not know why. It's heartbreaking. So, GOD BLESS YOU, Strong Mom! Continue to always be your son's voice. I just wanted to touch base to let you know how your jewelry touches people and really "plays it forward." … (My daughter) left the necklace (we bought) with a long note on the counter (for the mother of a child with autism, for whom she serves as nanny). When (the mother) got home in the wee hours of the morning-she wrote (my daughter) a long note on Facebook about how much the necklace meant and how she would always wear it.
